My name is Katelynn Brown, I am a proud Colorado and Teller County native. I’m honored to serve as a board member for the Southern Teller County Health Services District, with a deep appreciation for rural life and a commitment to giving back to my hometown. I have three years of experience as a Medicaid coordinator and community health advocate; I support Health First Colorado Medicaid members and low-income families through my work with the Colorado Community Health Alliance and Aspen Mine Centers in Teller County.
In my role, I focus on healthcare coordination, particularly Medicaid Waivers and Long-Term Care services for vulnerable populations. I collaborate closely with local organizations to connect residents with the care and resources they need. Beyond work, I stay actively involved in the community, volunteering and participating in local events.
My passion for community health is rooted in my love for Teller County, and I’m dedicated to positively impacting the place I’ve always called home. My family and I enjoy hiking, fishing, camping with our beloved dog, "Buddy," and exploring the rich history and natural beauty that Colorado has to offer.
